Total Rewards Intern
What you’ll need to succeed as a Total Rewards Intern at XPO
Minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- 2 or more years of relevant coursework
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Preferred qualifications:
- Education toward a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field
- Completed 1 HR internship, Compensation, or Benefits
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and SharePoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Energetic work style with a strong drive to succeed
- Self-motivated instincts with the ability to work well independently or in a team environment and consult with team members/management as needed
About the Total Rewards Intern job
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Support the Total Rewards team in compensation and benefits projects
- Assist with compensation survey data collection, analysis, and reporting
- Help prepare materials for annual compensation cycles and benefits enrollment
- Participate in benchmarking and market pricing activities
- Contribute to the development and communication of compensation and benefits policies
- Support audits and compliance activities related to pay and benefits
- Assist with employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits
- Serve as a key contributor to projects that impact the business and solve real problems
- Complete other duties and special projects as assigned
