Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Surgery Physician – South Carolina
Start Date: July 3rd (weekend coverage)
Location: South Carolina
Compensation: Competitive locum rate; details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Weekend coverage from Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 7:00 AM; 24-hour availability with on-call and surgical responsibilities as needed
Highlights:
- Weekend hospital rounding and surgical coverage in a well-established cardiovascular program
- Core procedures include Aneurysm Repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), and Heart Valve Replacement
- Cardiothoracic surgery experience required
- EMR system: EPIC
- Travel reimbursement provided: flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage at IRS standard rate
Requirements:
- Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Surgery (required)
- Board Certification in Cardiovascular Surgery (required)
- Active South Carolina medical license (must be currently active; facility will not sponsor new applications)
- Active ACLS certification (required)
- Self-query NPDB report required at time of credentialing
- Clean background and malpractice history required
