Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Travel RN specializing in CVICU to join the Heart Tower on the 3rd floor in Asheville, Tennessee. This high-acuity, friendly unit is known for its exceptional cardiac surgical care, with a supportive environment including free-charge nurses and an on-hand educator for orientation. You will work in a mixed 19-bed CVICU/CVRU unit, which operates with a 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio depending on acuity levels.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• Manage care for high-acuity cardiac patients utilizing devices such as ECMO, Impella, IABP, and LVADS
• Perform procedures including IABP, Impella support, hemodynamics, patient ambulation, chest tube and pacer wire removal, and intubation/extubation
• Collaborate with critical care and heart recovery professionals in a team-oriented environment
• Floating to all ICUs and stepdown units as needed

Requirements of the RN - CVICU - Travel

• BLS/ACLS certification
• Critical Care training
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU or CVRU experience
• Passion for surgical heart care
• High energy and upbeat personality
• Certification in Critical Care, Cardiac Surgery, or Recovery Room care preferred
