Direct Care Technician

At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH), our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Care Technicians, for Full-Time, Day and Night Shifts to join our team at our Facility Based Clinic in Jacksonville, NC.

Your Role in Our Mission

As a Direct Care Technician, on the team you will be responsible for providing and maintaining a therapeutic and safe group environment and attending to the welfare and basic needs of clients. You will provide informal counseling in the detox center that involve behavioral techniques, reality therapy, supportive encouragement and socialization skills for the clients.

We are currently hiring for a full-time opening:

Schedule:

• Full time: Day shift: 7 am – 7 pm (Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday; Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday).
• Full time: Night shift: 7 pm – 7 am (Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday; Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday).

We also offer a full benefits package for benefits-eligible positions.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive Salary: $15/hr. for these full-time positions.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Peer support certification a plus, but is not required.
• Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work.
