Duration: (contract, perm, etc) Contract-to-Hire – 6 months (C2H)
Compensation Range: $40-45/hr W2
This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Description:

The Sr. Systems Analyst will work closely with business teams, developers, and vendors to provide systems analysis, QA, testing, and requirements gathering.  This role requires a hands-on, ownership mindset to support multiple systems, integrations, and data flows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business teams, developers, and vendors to identify and document system requirements.

• Draft and finalize requirements documentation, user stories, and process flows for system enhancements.

• Analyze and troubleshoot data and application issues; investigate root causes.

• Perform manual testing : data setup, scenario validation, and functional test scripts.

• Support backlog grooming, PI planning, and Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning).

• Work across two lines of business:

  • Vending System : inventory, ordering, pricing, integration with warehouse and mobile.

  • Micro Markets : unmanned mini-markets, POS systems, vendor integrations, mobile ordering.

• Read and understand SQL Server databases and stored procedures to verify outputs and data flow.

• Collaborate with remote and onsite teams (1 dev onsite, others offshore) to coordinate testing and initiatives.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• Mid-level SQL skills (queries, joins, reading stored procedures)

• Experience with databases, integrations, and stored procedures

• Ability to investigate data issues and perform root-cause analysis

• Experience writing user stories, requirements, and process flows

• Comfortable working in an Agile environment

• Experience with manual testing / scenario validation / UAT

• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset

• Ability to collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams

Nice-to-Haves:

• Background in supply chain, inventory, or warehouse systems

• Exposure to SAP or accounting integrations

• Experience in a smaller company wearing multiple hats

• UI design or mockup experience

• Experience in technical/system/integrations analyst roles
