Behavior Technician (RBT) (Cameron)

Behavior Technician (RBT) Position Summary:
We are looking for compassionate, driven individuals to become Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement personalized behavior intervention plans and support clients in learning important life skills. These services will be delivered across a variety of settings, such as home, school, and community environments. Behavior Technicians are integral in delivering proven interventions, tracking progress, and helping clients reach their full potential.
Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities:
Implement customized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by the BCBA to meet client needs.
Work one-on-one with clients using ABA methods, such as discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching, and behavior management techniques.
Record and document client behavior and progress with the tools and systems provided.
Support clients in building skills related to communication, social interaction, self-care, and daily living.
Create an encouraging and positive learning environment, promoting client engagement and autonomy.
Collaborate with the BCBA and other professionals to monitor progress and ensure consistency in implementing plans across settings.
Maintain clear communication with families, caregivers, and team members, providing updates and sharing important information.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with ABA practices and techniques.
Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications:
Ability to follow detailed instructions, implement intervention plans accurately, and document data consistently.
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to clients homes, schools, and community settings.
Commitment to confidentiality, ethical guidelines, and fostering an inclusive and positive environment.
Patience, empathy, and dedication to helping individuals with developmental disabilities succeed.
Behavior Technician (RBT) Benefits:
Competitive starting pay ranging from $23-$28 per hour.
