Virtual Field Reimbursement Manager
You are an expert facilitator: you open doors, foster communication, and bridge the gap.
Virtual Field Reimbursement Manager (VFRM) will be responsible for the management of defined accounts in a specified geography.
The Virtual Field Reimbursement Manager will execute the collaborative territory strategic plan through partnership with internal and external stakeholders, which may include call center services (HUB), sales, market access, and other collaboration partners. Responsibilities include ensuring understanding of reimbursement process, field reimbursement services, and patient support programs. The Virtual Field Reimbursement Manager will also work on patient-level reimbursement issue resolution.
- Educate HCPs on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements of payer organizations (local payers, government payers, etc.)
- Collaborate with field support team members such as sales representatives and key account managers and serve as reimbursement expert for the local team
- Act with a sense of urgency to address critical access and affordability issues for patients
- Conduct virtual reimbursement and access support, education and creative problem-solving aligned to FRM Rules of Engagement
- Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers in all assigned accounts
- Grow the knowledge of hub and specialty distribution channels to improve practice and patient support needs
- Execute business in accordance with the highest ethical, legal, and compliance standards, including timely and successful completion of all required training
- Extensive knowledge of medication access channels (i.e., pharmacy and medical benefit including buy & bill and/or assignment of benefit (AOB) across multiple sites of care)
Along with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and a results-oriented mindset, the ideal candidate has:
- BA/BS degree required
- 4+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- 1+ years of experience in field reimbursement experience
- Ability to solve access issues related to specialty pharmacy channel
- Experience immunology nice to have, not required
- Virtual experience is preferred
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills required
