Production Planner
Planning & Fulfillment Manager Your role and responsibilities: In this role, you will have the opportunity to generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules. Each day, you will feed information on production capacity issues and material availability. You will also showcase your expertise by releasing manufacturing work orders. The work model for the role is onsite at the Pinetops, NC facility (#LI-Onsite). You will be mainly accountable for:
- Creating and maintaining a detailed production schedule from the production plan.
- Executing daily, plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules.
- Establishing sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule/plan.
- Monitoring schedule adherence, identifying key root causes for deviation, and taking follow-up improvement action.
- High school diploma / GED
- Highly skilled in production planning methods, scheduling techniques and manufacturing flow.
- 2+ years of experience in production planning/scheduling.
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of SAP (REQUIRED)
- Proven experience planning/scheduling manufacturing cells, maintaining the plan within manufacturing capacity.
- You are at ease communicating in English.
