Position Summary The purpose and reason for this role is to develop, maintain and deploy enterprise. automation efforts around Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Cognitive Services, based on approved designs and architectural artifacts. Key duties include AI Hub development efforts across multiple platforms and business areas, ensuring CVS has industry leading systems, resources, and knowledge around AI and cognitive cloud-based solutions. Develop, maintain and deploy industry leading automation solutions that utilize AI and advanced technologies to automate health care processes (key areas are Prior Authorization, Pre-Certifications, UM, and digitization of paper/faxes, Neural Voice). Manage cloud based and other AI and Cognitive Solution platforms. Required Qualifications

• This position requires knowledge, skills and understanding of IT development concepts, as well as knowledge and work experience of specific AI, NLP, ML and Cognitive service concepts, process automation architecture, design, development and support experience and knowledge. Essential skills require a minimum of 4 years' experience with programming in scripting or multi-paradigm languages (Python, R, ect..) or work with cognitive service platforms (Azure, AWS, GPC, IBM). Should also have knowledge of software management, infrastructure, DEV/SEC/OPS, and development/deployment practices.

• IT experience in application development, and support.

• IT automation process, development and maintenace experience/knowledge.

Preferred Qualifications

• AI, NLP or Cognitive services experience, cloud architecture and implementation experience.

• Health Care, pharmacy, health care insurance experience/knowledge.

• IT security, governance and responsible AI practices and procedures.

• Ability to understand AI fundamentals and concepts.

Education B.A. or B.S in Computer Science, Data and Analytics, AI/ML, or related field. Masters or PhD preferred but will accept relevant work experience along with industry experience in health care, pharmacy, and/or retail.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$106,605.00 - $213,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
