Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver
Join Electric Supply & Equipment as a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver and become a vital part of our team! In this dynamic role, you'll ensure smooth warehouse operations while delivering excellent service to our customers.
You'll be at the heart of our logistics, receiving and unloading deliveries, managing inventory, and preparing shipments with precision. Your keen eye will help spot any product issues, ensuring only top-quality items reach our customers. Plus, you'll take charge of safe, timely deliveries, representing our company on the road with professionalism.
Key duties include:
- Efficiently receiving, unloading, and stocking inventory using warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment or delivery.
- Operating delivery vehicles safely while ensuring items are secured and organized according to the delivery route.
- Maintaining detailed records, performing cycle counts, and keeping the warehouse organized and clean.
- Engaging with company systems including UPS World Ship and Direct Route phones to streamline processes.
As a crucial link between our warehouse and customers, your dedication ensures timely deliveries and outstanding service every day.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of warehouse and/or delivery driving experience.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets, shipping, and receiving documents accurately.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners; forklift certification is a plus or can be obtained after hire.
- Comfortable using computer systems and software relevant to warehouse operations.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to navigate routes using GPS or maps.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, stand, walk, bend, and repeatedly get in and out of delivery vehicles.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety protocols and company policies, ensuring a secure working environment.
