Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years CT Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality
Location: Kannapolis, NC
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift Options: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Start Date: 8/11/2025
End Date: 11/8/2025

Sunbelt is hiring a CT/Rad Tech Dual Modality for a 13-week contract at a freestanding emergency department in Kannapolis, NC . This facility includes 14 ED beds and supports DX, CT, and US imaging. Candidates must be confident in both radiography and CT and capable of working independently in a fast-paced setting.

• Perform CT and radiographic imaging on emergency department patients

• Operate GE CT (Optima 540) and Shimadzu/Philips XR systems

• Must be proficient with stroke protocols and emergency cases (e.g., MVCs, falls, SOB, DVTs)

• Participate in a minimal on-call rotation (details below)

• ARRT (R)(CT) certification

• BLS (AHA)

• 1+ year recent experience in both CT and X-Ray

• Strong preference for prior ED/trauma experience

• Must be able to function independently

• EPIC and Philips iSite PACS experience preferred

• Full-time, 36-hour weeks

• Shift: 7a7:30p or 7p7:30a

• Call: 2 days/month (12-hour call shifts), rotating between Kannapolis and Harrisburg FSEDs

• Weekend and holiday coverage per facility schedule

• No float outside designated call sites

• Average Daily Volumes: DX 40; CT 35
