Financial Analyst Intern
- Collect, analyze, and summarize data related to program performance, workforce trends, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with operational departments on monthly performance, initiatives, and special projects.
- Manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities effectively.
- Assist with database management, reporting, and documentation of key processes.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and communication materials for leadership and stakeholders.
- Become efficient in Office Connect and prepare leaders for upcoming budget preparation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or project lead.
- Gain practical experience in Financial Statements, data analysis, and business communication skills.
- Develop a deeper understanding of healthcare finance and organizational strategy.
- Build professional relationships with leaders and team members.
- Strong interest in healthcare, nonprofit work, or business finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn.
- Respectful of cross-cultural differences and aligned with Cone Health’s values.
- Ability to listen empathetically and organize information logically.
- Internal workflow within respective departments, asking clarifying questions and learning processes.
- Actively participates in all elements of the internship programing, participating in hands on.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Required: Must be in process of a college-level degree in a related field and a student in good standing. Applicants must be at least the age of 16 to be employed as Cone Health High School-level interns (work-authorization required).
- Junior, senior, or graduate student with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
