Job Overview:

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will provide essential care and support to individuals with various needs, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
• Assist with mobility and transportation, ensuring clients' safety and comfort.
• Help with meal preparation, feeding, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and respectful relationship.
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
• Ensure clients' medication schedules are followed (when applicable).
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a caregiving role (preferred, but not required).
• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy with a passion for helping others.
• Ability to follow care plans and work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred, but can be obtained after hire).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
