Construction Equipment Maintenance Technician
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Maintenance Technician to join our team in Durham, NC. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on buildings and equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Assist in the construction and renovation of facilities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Utilize tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in maintenance or construction is a plus.
- Proven experience in construction, maintenance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, tools, and safety practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
