This role will provide legal services and guidance to our telecom department, focusing on wireless facilities, lease negotiations, and master lease agreements. Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements related to telecom, including wireless facilities, lease agreements, and master lease agreements.
2. Provide legal advice and guidance on all aspects of telecom law, including regulatory compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
3. Collaborate with various departments to identify potential legal issues and develop strategic solutions.
4. Stay abreast of developments in telecom law and regulations and provide timely updates and training to relevant teams.
5. Represent the company in legal proceedings, if necessary.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance in all telecom operations.
7. Work closely with external counsel, as needed, to manage legal risks and ensure the best possible legal outcomes for the company.

Qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the Illinois Bar.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Corporate Attorney, Transactional Attorney, or Real Estate Attorney, with a focus on telecom law.
4. Proven experience in wireless facilities, lease negotiation, and master lease agreements.
5. Excellent legal research and writing skills.
6. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information.
10. Knowledge of current telecom laws and regulations.
