ICU RN Job Details

• Location: Albany, NY 12208 – Prime opportunity for New York ICU nurses seeking travel nursing jobs in a welcoming community with access to top healthcare facilities, cultural attractions, and outdoor recreation.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 9/15/2025 – End: 10/29/2025)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2520 - $2580 per week
• Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Trauma, Surgical, Neurological
• Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New York RN license preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience with trauma, surgical, and neurological patients
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and excel in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Navy blue scrubs required

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment in accordance with ICU protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery processes, and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards in a clinical setting
