As a clinician in our OB hospitalist program, youll be in the hospital 24/7 to perform real-time triage on every patient entering the labor and delivery unit or obstetric emergency department (OBED). Your presence will reduce delays in emergency OB/GYN care, improve outcomes, increase patient satisfaction, and support community clinicians.

AdventHealth Hendersonville, part of the faith-based AdventHealth system, provides comprehensive care based on a whole-person philosophy via their award-winning team of obstetricians, pediatric specialists, and certified nurse-midwives. The hospital's childbirth center offers the first fully-equipped operating room suite in Hendersonville, a three-day Celebrate Pregnancy and Childbirth class, and breastfeeding support and instruction provided by board-certified lactation consultants. The hospital performs about 600 deliveries annually.

Henderson, known as 'Hendo', is nestled in North Carolina's Blue Ridge Mountains, about 23 miles from Asheville, once named the Happiest City in America.

Residents enjoy ancient old-growth forests, scenic waterfalls, outdoor adventures, and vibrant art and music scenes. Asheville-Hendersonville boasts popular music venues, galleries, and studio walks.
