Apprenticeship Coordinator

Responsibilities
- Coordinate the onboarding and enrollment process for new apprentices, ensuring a smooth transition into the program.
- Maintain accurate and organized apprentice files, contracts, certifications, and training records.
- Schedule and facilitate orientation sessions, training activities, evaluations, meetings, and graduation events.
- Organize and securely store both digital and physical apprenticeship records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Track required forms, certifications, timesheets, and training documentation, updating records regularly for audits and reporting.
- Monitor apprentice attendance, training hours, and progress toward certifications and program completion.
- Generate progress reports for management, supervisors, and regulatory agencies.
- Identify apprentices who may need additional support or intervention and assist in providing resources.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for apprentices, mentors, instructors, and supervisors, providing guidance on program requirements and expectations.
- Ensure apprenticeship programs comply with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Assist with audits, reporting requirements, and accreditation documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for apprenticeship processes and tracking systems.
- Assist leadership with workforce development initiatives and program planning.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in administrative, program coordination, or workforce development roles preferred.
- 2–3 years of experience with ApprenticeshipNC.
- 1–2 years of experience with NCCER.
- Experience with document management systems and data tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and database systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Familiarity with apprenticeship or workforce development programs is a plus.
- Experience tracking compliance requirements and reporting metrics is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position is based in our Charlotte office and involves frequent communication with apprentices, supervisors, and training providers.
