Flooring Service Technician

Hardwoods Unlimited is a well-established and growing, family-owned flooring company, seeking a full time bilingual repair and service specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate is someone who has experience with carpet and hard surface flooring installations and repairs, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering outstanding workmanship. This position requires someone who can deliver high quality work while ensuring customer satisfaction and adhering to our high standards of safety and professionalism. Knowledge of the Greensboro/Triad area is helpful.

Key Responsibilities:

• Various repairs inspection, assessing the current condition and performing any necessary repairs.
• LVT repairs, light installation, carpet repair
• Operates all related equipment, including seaming iron, power stretcher, floor sander, etc.
• Aware of best practices and follows manufacturers' recommended instructions for installations and repairs of all types of floor covering - including tile is a plus.
• Ensure projects are completed to the highest quality standards and within the allocated time frame.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper handling and disposal of materials.
• Collaborate with the sales and design team to ensure project specifications and customer expectations are met.

Requirements:

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to lift 60 pounds or more
