Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer of monoaxially oriented heat shrinkable film, vital for packaging and labeling products in grocery stores. We are looking for skilled technical machine operators to work on slitting and extrusion machines. If you have a passion for machine operation and a keen eye for detail, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

• Load materials into machines before running production work orders.
• Perform setups, changeovers, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting of machines.
• Work on slitting and extrusion machines efficiently and safely.

Essential Skills

• At least 2+ years of technical machine operating experience.
• Ability to perform machine setups, changeovers, and troubleshooting.
• Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts (1st and 3rd shifts).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with slitting, molding, blow mold, injection mold, or extrusion machines is preferred.
• Capable of lifting 50+ lbs, and able to bend, lift, push, and pull materials throughout a 12-hour shift.

Work Environment

Work in a modern, very clean warehouse that is non-climate controlled but comfortable. Be prepared for hot conditions in summer and cooler conditions in winter, with extra breaks for hydration during warmer months. Safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and hair nets are required. The facility includes a smoking room and a break room.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Browns Summit, NC.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
