Driver on Demand (“DOD”) - A national provider of screened and certified drivers to automotive dealers and leading car companies such as Lincoln, Ford, Acura, Honda and most other major brands. DOD provides high quality drivers to forward thinking local auto dealers that are focused on a new level of customer experience – allowing customers to service their vehicles without ever leaving their home or office.
We take customer service very seriously and have a growing team of hard-working, passionate and energetic drivers that assist our clients. We are looking for pleasant tech savvy drivers that will help local dealers pick up and deliver customer vehicles. DOD has over 500 drivers spanning 40 major US metros.- Independent Contractor position (1099)
- Earn $15/hr driving without using your own vehicle
- Every third Tuesday, 12:30pm to 2:30pm (more hours will be available as we grow)
- Direct deposit paid weekly
- Nationwide certification to drive in any DOD market – currently in 40 major US metros
- Safely drive and park vehicles of varying makes, models, and sizes (including cars, trucks, and SUVs)
- Move vehicles to and from auction lanes, dealer lots, and designated parking areas as directed
- Follow auction staff instructions and maintain efficiency to meet auction schedules
- Inspect vehicles before driving to ensure they are safe to operate (e.g., check for flat tires, dead battery)
- Adhere to all traffic laws, auction safety policies, and procedures while operating vehicles
- Maintain professionalism and represent the auction facility and contracting company with integrity
- Must be tech savvy (navigate while using an app)
- 5+ years of consistent and clean driving history
- Valid in-state driver’s license
- Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients
- Time management and organizational skills to keep track of trips and stay on schedule
