TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Winston Salem, North Carolina, 27157!
Job Title: RN - Emergency Department Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years; 3 years of Level 1 trauma center experience preferred for first-time travelers License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: - Advanced clinical decision making skills - Compassionate patient care abilities - Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate Description: This role requires a skilled and compassionate RN to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care. The RN will deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Utilizing evidence-based practice is essential in this fast-paced unit. Common patient types include trauma, stroke, burn, and various medical emergencies. The patient ratios will vary based on clinical area and acuity. Support within the department includes ED Technicians, Unit Secretaries, Charge Nurses, and a Critical Care Pharmacist. Technological competencies include familiarity with electronic medical records, IV pumps, and monitoring systems. Floating may occur to the ED Transition Care Unit based on staffing needs. Holiday expectations involve working during 75% of holidays. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, including weekend rotations. Scrub color will be royal blue. About Cynet Health
