Truck Driver, Low-Boy/Flat-Bed/Utility

Team member’s primary responsibility includes but is not limited to the safe and efficient operation of a tractor with low-boy and/or flat-bed trailer to transport heavy, construction equipment as well as Utility driver filling in as needed with hauling flat-bed, hydraulic tilt or other type trailers and assisting as needed in all areas of Support Services. Team member reports to the Logistics Coordinator.

• Experience securing loads for transport per DMV specifications (strapping and/or chaining)
• Ability to safely operate heavy, mobile construction equipment during the loading and unloading process for transport

• Be able to read a map and be familiar with the area you will be delivering the load to
• Keep truck clean, neat, and orderly
• Complete all paperwork required per NCDMV standards
• Maintain and keep DOT medical certification up-to-date
• Must be able to complete tasks that require but not limited to bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, crouching, crawling, and balancing
• Communicate time away from work with your team leader with sufficient notice
• Willingness to work hours as required
• Ability to stay out of town, over-night if required

Education/Training/Certification:

• Class A CDL (HAZMAT and Tanker endorsement preferred)
• OSHA Training
• Technical Training
• Forklift Certification
• First Aid/CPR
