Truck Driver, Low-Boy/Flat-Bed/Utility
Team member’s primary responsibility includes but is not limited to the safe and efficient operation of a tractor with low-boy and/or flat-bed trailer to transport heavy, construction equipment as well as Utility driver filling in as needed with hauling flat-bed, hydraulic tilt or other type trailers and assisting as needed in all areas of Support Services. Team member reports to the Logistics Coordinator.

- Experience securing loads for transport per DMV specifications (strapping and/or chaining)
- Ability to safely operate heavy, mobile construction equipment during the loading and unloading process for transport

- Maintain an excellent driving record
- Know the weight limits of the truck you will be operating
- Work to meet daily production goals
- Be able to read a map and be familiar with the area you will be delivering the load to
- Keep truck clean, neat, and orderly
- Complete all paperwork required per NCDMV standards
- Maintain and keep DOT medical certification up-to-date
- Must be able to complete tasks that require but not limited to bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, crouching, crawling, and balancing
- Communicate time away from work with your team leader with sufficient notice
- Willingness to work hours as required
- Ability to stay out of town, over-night if required
Education/Training/Certification:
- Class A CDL (HAZMAT and Tanker endorsement preferred)
- OSHA Training
- Technical Training
- Forklift Certification
- First Aid/CPR
