A highly respected mechanical construction company is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to help uphold the highest fabrication standards in the industry. This is a critical role ensuring accuracy, compliance, and workmanship from drawings to final product.
What You'll Do
Interpret material and fabrication requirements from design drawings, contract specifications, and shop detail drawings
Inspect fabrication processes including cutting, burning, shearing, drilling, assembly, bolting, welding, cleaning, and painting
Perform detailed inspections using gauges, meters, calipers, and other measuring tools
Document and report findings using Microsoft Office
Ensure compliance with all welding and fabrication quality standards
What You Bring
3+ years of quality control experience in mechanical construction or fabrication
Strong ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications
Working knowledge of fabrication methods and inspection procedures
Proficiency with measuring instruments (gauges, meters, calipers, etc.)
Microsoft Office competency for reporting and documentation
Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) through the American Welding Society (required)
Ability to pass annual visual acuity exam (including color differentiation)
