Python Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Python Developer for a Contract with a client in Charlotte, NC. Candidates must demonstrate deep expertise in Python to design robust backend architecture and agentic systems .

Rate Range: $64/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Developer job responsibilities include:

• Lead end‑to‑end development of web applications, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

• Architect and build scalable backend services using Python and frameworks like Django or Flask.

• Develop intuitive, high‑performance front‑end interfaces using Angular and modern UI technologies.

• Integrate GenAI and foundation models through AWS Bedrock to enable advanced NLP, text generation, and intelligent workflows.

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful/GraphQL APIs and manage both relational and NoSQL databases.

• Troubleshoot full‑stack issues, participate in code reviews, and collaborate cross‑functionally within an agile environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Python development, full‑stack engineering, and modern cloud‑based application architectures.

• Proven expertise in building scalable backend systems using Python and frameworks such as Django or Flask.

• Strong hands‑on experience with GenAI technologies and AWS Bedrock for integrating foundation models into enterprise applications.

Pay Details: $64.00 to $68.00 per hour
