Role Description:

• Cardiologist (Non Invasive)
• Location: Statesville, NC
• Employed Position
• Group has 3 Cardiologists and 3 APPs.
• Schedule: (Mon-Th 8:30 - 5pm) closed for lunch from 12-1. (Friday 8:30 - 1pm)
• MDs decide their rounding schedule. They typically round inpatient first thing in the AM and do any procedures. Then begin clinic around 9:30am.
• Call is shared between our group and another local organization. Ratio is 1:8.
• EMR: Cerner
• We are looking for a Certified Cardiologist to provide patients with high-quality treatment and diagnostic services.
• Typical patient volume: 20-25
• Main procedures performed - pacemaker insertions, battery changes, loop recorder insertions, lexi-scans, stress echoes, echoes, ABIs, carotids, heart catheterizations, stents, etc.
• The ideal candidate is an intuitive healthcare professional whose diagnostic abilities are only matched by their concern for their patients.
• The person in the Physician role will be responsible for meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients in our clinic and providing them with healthcare services that meet state and national standards for caregiving.
• They will be responsible for prescribing patients with appropriate medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery from diagnosed health issues, prevent future health issues and/or promote a healthier life.
• The right candidate will have a passion for providing diagnostic services to patients and will enjoy working closely with other healthcare professionals in our organization.
• Network boasts 27 practices, comprised of 12 primary care clinics, 10 specialty groups, 3 ambulatory surgery centers and 2 urgent cares.

Requirements:

• NC Medical License and DEA, eligible
• Must be BC in Cardiology (board eligible if new grad)
• Requires current BLS Certification
• No board sanctions or actions in last 10 years
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
• Experience working in a team of healthcare professionals and collaborating with them to ensure positive, effective patient experiences with our organization.
