Job Details:

Full Time - Data Engineer – Databricks / Spark

We are seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain batch ETL pipelines within a Databricks Lakehouse environment. This role will focus on building scalable data pipelines from ingestion through transformation and delivery to analytics platforms such as Power BI.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, Python, and SQL along with experience building reliable ETL pipelines and dimensional data models.

Key Experience:

• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• Databricks and Apache Spark (PySpark, Spark SQL)
• Delta Lake (optimize, vacuum, merge, time travel)
• Python and advanced SQL
• Building and optimizing ETL/data pipelines
• Data modeling and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with Git and CI/CD

Nice to have:

• Banking or financial services experience
• Power BI or BI data modeling
• Unity Catalog or data governance experience
• Streaming technologies (Kafka or Spark Streaming)
