1. Line Cook Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and Line Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. The Line Cook will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver high-quality dishes.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Participate in catering events as required, ensuring quality presentation and service.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
- Experience in meal preparation, food preparation, or culinary arts is advantageous.
- Familiarity with catering services is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
*Pay: $13.00 - 14.00 per hr.
Expected hours: 30 per week
Shift:
Day shift 11 - 4:00 pm
Evening shift 4:00 pm - 9pm (Fri/Sat: 10:00 pm)
2. Cashier Job Summary
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily while possessing dependability and exceptional teamwork skills
Excellent guest service skills and experience
Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
Detailed oriented with the ability to multi-task
Ability to prioritize, good organizational skills
Must have ability to accurately handle money, make change, process credit card transactions and have strong menu knowledge
Computer skills (POS system)
0-2 years related experience
- Verbally communicate with others
- Flexible Scheduling
- Greet guest in a friendly, warm, and welcoming manner
- Practices safe food and beverage handling
- Communicate and interact with guests, can handle crowds, and put guests at ease while they wait for their meal or carryout order
- Shows guests you care and ask them about their dining experience
Effectively handles guest complaints and involves manager at appropriate time - Handles cash and credit transactions; accurately accounts for all receivables including cash, credit cards, and gift cards
- Assist in marketing, promotional services and situational selling, such as communicating new promotions, products, or marketing information to guest
- May be asked to assist in other job categories as well
- All other duties as assigned
- Stand for entire shift and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down
- Push, lift, carry and transfer up to 25 pounds
- Bend and stoop

$12.00 per hour
Mon -Thu: 11:00 am - 4:00 pm / 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm / Fri & Sat: 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm
