Accounts Payable Clerk

Do you believe in helping the greater good of others? This is an onsite role that will work closely with AR. Hours M-Thursday 9a-5pm and Fridays 9-3pm with benefits starting day one including medical, dental, vision, 13 holidays and a 9% match for 403B. The role sits in an open office space with a cubical environment. Since the office staff consists of 10 individuals, cultural fit is imperative.

Responsibilities

Primary Tasks

Process accounts payable (including tracking monthly bills spreadsheet) and submitting payables to bank. Maintain accurate electronic (eBridge) and paper files as required by the company and the annual audit Record payment of sales taxes for purchases. Prepare sales tax refunds on appropriate forms and submit them to respective state departments of revenue. Process staff expenses and travel reports and associated payments. Maintain vendor information (W9 and vendor insurance information for all properties managed by the company; utilize Quick Base as appropriate). Perform monthly bank reconciliations and submit for approval. Coordinate the allocation of costs and expenses for monthly credit card statements from staff. Work with the auditors for information requested during the annual audit process. Provide phone/email assistance on account inquiries/clarifications. Year end 1099 preparation, processing and distribution. Other duties as assigned

Secondary Tasks

Answer incoming phone calls; welcome visitors as backup to the Executive Assistant.
