In this contract opportunity, you'll make a meaningful difference for young learners, managing a moderate and manageable caseload of 37 students. The position is structured for work-life balance, offering a consistent four-day workweek and 32 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of North Carolina
• Strong interest or experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other school professionals
• Exceptional communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Commitment to fostering students' growth and independence across educational settings

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students ranging from preschool to 5th grade, across three district locations
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
• Track student progress and maintain timely, thorough documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
• Consult with teachers and staff to support student success in and out of the classroom
• Offer adaptive strategies and interventions that promote fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
