- Follow production standards and quality procedures to ensure consistent workmanship and structural integrity.
- Maintain high safety standards, including proper handling of materials, equipment, and tools in the welding area.
- Collaborate closely with production teams, fabrication, assembly, paint, and other departments to support smooth production flow.
- Use overhead cranes and material-handling equipment to safely move and position heavy components.
- Inspect welds and assemblies, identify defects or issues, and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Contribute ideas to improve welding processes, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance overall manufacturing quality.

- Support a fast-paced startup manufacturing environment by being flexible with evolving processes and priorities.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts and help shape the growth and capabilities of the facility.
Essential Skills

- Strong blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret drawings, dimensions, and weld symbols.
- Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and production standards accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining productivity and quality.
- Positive attitude, humility, and willingness to learn in a startup manufacturing environment.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced production setting with evolving processes and priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and safely use overhead cranes or other equipment for heavier materials.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience fabricating large structural steel enclosures or industrial power-generation equipment.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to full production flow from raw material to finished product.
- Familiarity with press brake, laser cutting, forming, and related fabrication processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including assembly, paint, and shipping.
- Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to grow with an operation that is building its U.S. manufacturing presence.
- Comfort working directly with leadership and contributing ideas to process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ownership mentality with a strong sense of accountability and pride in craftsmanship.
- Interest in long-term career development in welding, skilled trades, engineering, or leadership roles as the facility expands.
Why Work Here?
You will join a new U.S. manufacturing operation at the ground floor, where your contributions are visible and your ideas truly matter. The company offers a clear path for advancement as it scales through additional shifts, increased production, and expanded engineering and leadership functions. You will work on large-scale generator enclosure systems that support a rapidly growing data center market and future emissions-control technologies, giving you exposure to a dynamic and evolving industry. The culture emphasizes humility, accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and an ownership mentality, creating an environment where self-starters can thrive. Employees are encouraged to bring forward ideas, identify inefficiencies, and help shape how the operation grows, while working directly with highly visible leadership. Work Environment
The role is based in a brand-new, clean, and organized manufacturing facility in Charlotte, NC that is currently in startup mode with a small, close-knit team. The operation features new equipment and significant investment in growth, with the building in an early launch phase and leadership highly visible on the production floor. The facility manufactures large-scale generator enclosures and industrial power systems for data center infrastructure, with future plans to produce emissions-control and DEF exhaust management systems for backup power applications. Employees gain exposure to the full manufacturing process, including raw material receiving of large carbon steel sheets, fabrication and forming using press brakes, lasers, and forming operations, wash bay and surface preparation, assembly of subassemblies and enclosure sections, MIG welding of structural components and frames, laser processing for precision cutting, paint and powder coating for corrosion resistance and final appearance, and final inspection and shipping. The environment is fast-paced and startup-oriented, with phased growth plans that include increasing headcount, launching additional shifts, and expanding skilled trades, engineering, administrative, and leadership roles. You will work with overhead cranes and other material-handling equipment to move heavy components and operate within established safety and quality standards. Dress is typical for a manufacturing and welding environment, with appropriate workwear and personal protective equipment required to ensure safety while working with carbon steel, welding equipment, and industrial machinery.
