Duties

• Review project plans, blueprints, and damage assessments to develop comprehensive restoration estimates.
• Utilize estimating software such as Xactimate, Dash, DocuSketch, to prepare detailed cost proposals.
• Conduct site visits to evaluate damage scope, gather measurements, and verify existing conditions.
• Collaborate with clients, insurance adjusters, contractors, and suppliers through negotiation to establish fair pricing and scope of work.
• Prepare accurate bid packages that include labor, materials, equipment costs, and profit margins.
• Monitor project costs throughout the restoration process to ensure adherence to budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in contract negotiations and review contractual documents to align scope and pricing with project requirements.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction estimating tools such as Xactimate.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles, cost control measures, and pricing strategies.
• Experience with construction site assessments, damage evaluation, and project management fundamentals.
