CDL- Feed Driver (Nights)

Prestage Farms is seeking a reliable and safety-minded Commercial Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for safely transporting feed to and from the feed mill during night-shift operations. If you’re a responsible driver with a strong work ethic and a Class A CDL, we want to hear from you!This is a local, full-time position averaging 55-60 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport feed to and from the feed mill
• Perform accurate daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain cleanliness of tractor and trailer inside and out
• Load and unload trucks at assigned destinations
• Ensure compartments are clean and tarps are properly secured before loading
• Collect required ingredient samples
• Accurately complete all delivery forms and return documentation
• Follow all company safety rules, policies, and DOT regulations
• Adapt to unexpected situations such as traffic delays, weather, or route changes
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally

Requirements

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)
• At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Must be21 years of age or older
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck-driving rules and DOT regulations
• No recent moving violations or safety-related driving violations
• Ability to work weekends as needed
• Willingness to submit to a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
• Ability to provide employment references
• Adaptability, reliability, and strong problem-solving skills

ADA REQUIREMENTS: Ability to walk, stoop, bend, climb, repetitive motions, see and distinguish colors, and hear
