The Role
As a Principal Consultant, you will take ownership of your desk, working with boutique investment banks to source and place high-calibre M&A professionals while driving the growth of the M&A team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full 360 recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and placing candidates to negotiating offers and providing post-placement support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with boutique investment banks, ensuring a deep understanding of their talent needs.
- Source and place top-tier M&A professionals in advisory and deal-making roles.
- Develop new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing clients.
- Provide strategic market insights to clients and candidates, keeping them informed of trends and opportunities in the M&A sector.
- Achieve individual revenue targets while contributing to the overall success of the M&A team.
About You
- Proven billing track record of $350k+ (recent and largely self-generated).
- Extensive recruitment experience, ideally within the M&A, investment banking, or financial services sectors.
- Strong understanding of the M&A recruitment landscape, including boutique investment banks and deal-making roles.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
