Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week

The Appointment Scheduling and Health Information Line fields calls from community members and CHA clients. Staff provides general community health information as well as schedules appointments across agency services. The HCS will work as part of a team and help support the implementation and development of a Centralized Services program for universal access to services provided by CHA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Answer and triage calls/emails from community members regarding COVID testing, quarantine/isolation, immunizations and other community health questions or concerns
- Interview patients to obtain financial, medical, and personal data to ensure confidentiality and provide information, explanation, and scheduling of services offered by CHA
- Provide guidance and support to community partners
- Communicate identified community trends with agency staff
- Maintain up-to-date guidance and communicate changes to the team
Education/Experience: Graduation from high school or equivalent. Experience working with the public preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Experience working on a computer/in computer programs required. General health principles through introductory nursing classes a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be extremely flexible, work independently, work as part of a team and possess good decision-making skills
- Ability to learn new technology
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
