Job Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming materials, documenting results, and supporting quality standards across manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
Inspect incoming raw materials and machined components
Use manual measuring tools (calipers, gauges, bore gauges, surface testers, etc.)
Record inspection results and write non-conformance reports
Sort, label, and quarantine materials as needed
Perform first article inspections on in-house machined parts
Support additional inspection activities, including CMM operations
Communicate with suppliers and internal teams regarding quality issues
Support ISO 9001 quality standards
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years of experience in manufacturing or quality inspection
Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
Experience using precision measuring tools
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Familiarity with ISO 9001 required
Quality software experience preferred
