Staff Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accounting and financial transactions, applying accounting principles


• Support month end closing and account reconciliations


• Special project assignments


• Support AP person with bills and payment applications.

Skills and qualification required

• 1-4 years of General Ledger Accounting


• Minimum of an associate’s degree from a technical college or university in accounting


• Analytical and evaluative skills requiring an understanding of both accounting theory and practice


• Understand accounting entries


• Good communication


• Team player


• Works well under stressful deadlines
