Custodial Janitor - full-time
To maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the JAARS facilities in such a manner which assures an attractive, pleasant, and sanitary environment for personnel, customers, and guests. This is a full-time Janitor position. Position Responsibilities
- Perform duties and tasks as outlined in responsibilities below and other tasks requested by supervisor or administrative staff.
- Clean restrooms.
- Vacuum carpets.
- Clean entrances and glass doors.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and order supplies thru Admin-Janitorial supervisor.
- Empty trash.
- Respond with flexibility to unexpected requests that may arise from supervisor.
Position Requirements
- A deep and growing walk with the Lord Jesus that includes your personal spiritual growth and the ability to support others in their spiritual growth.
- Embrace the vision, mission, and core values of JAARS.
- High school diploma.
- Good customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn new cleaning methods.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail is an important element of this job.
