Join our dynamic team at French Broad River Brewery as a Pizza Cook, where you'll craft delicious, artisanal pizzas in a vibrant, community-focused environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while being part of a beloved local brewery in beautiful Asheville, NC. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Provide excellent customer service and engage with guests about menu offerings.
- Assist in training new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques.
- Participate in regular kitchen clean-up and maintenance tasks.
- Proven experience as a pizza cook or in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of pizza-making techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high quality.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus.
