As a **Security Professional - School Campus Patrol Driver** in **Wilmington, NC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a reassuring presence for students, staff, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help maintain a secure environment, and deliver outstanding customer service through clear communication and professionalism. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license as you support the security-related needs of the campus. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients, students, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of an educational environment.
+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around campus buildings and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.
+ Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious persons, vehicles, or activities to the appropriate authorities.
+ Assist with access control, visitor management, and/or monitoring entrances and exits as required for the location.
+ Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal guidelines and client requirements.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with campus staff, students, and emergency responders as needed.
+ Support the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures to help to deter violations and maintain order at the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least six months of security-related experience is required.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
