As an intern with the Electrification and Automation (EA)division of Siemens Smart Infrastructure , you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting power distribution systems that keep the world running today, while also being exposed to our Future Grids technologies that are shaping the power systems of tomorrow - all within a collaborative, impact-driven environment.

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Customer Experience & Support Internship beginning in May or June 2026. This program is based in Wendell, NC.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Taking an AI-first approach to find and solve problems, enhance customer experience, and improve support processes.
• Supporting adoption and continuous improvement of a customer-facing order management portal by analyzing usage data and customer feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Assisting with customer journey mapping to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and communication breakdowns across customer touchpoints.
• Developing reports and documentation that summarize customer insights, portal usage trends, and recommended enhancements for internal stakeholders.
• Supporting the review, optimization, and creation of customer-facing technical documentation to improve clarity, usability, and consistency.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support customer experience initiatives, process improvements, and proactive support solutions.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, Psychology, Cognitive Science, or a related field. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2026.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard productivity tools.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the 12-week summer internship.
• Eligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Wendell, NC, as this role does not provide relocation support.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
• Curious about AI and eager to learn and experiment with AI-powered solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest in customer experience, customer support, or customer journey optimization.
• Familiarity with data analysis or reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Exposure to CRM or customer experience platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
• Experience with process mapping or workflow documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn customer-facing systems and documentation practices.
