A growing, Raleigh based organization is hiring a Corporate Controller to lead Accounting and Financial operations across a complex business structure. This role will work closely with leadership and play a key part in strengthening internal processes and reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial reporting activities across multiple business units
  • Review and guide the close process, ensuring accurate and timely financial data
  • Monitor cash activity and support planning around short- and long-term needs
  • Handle complex accounting areas and support proper treatment of unique transactions
  • Maintain oversight of day-to-day accounting activity to ensure consistency and accuracy across the organization
  • Support implementation and optimization of systems, tools, and reporting capabilities as the business scales
  • Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, planning, and performance tracking to support informed decision-making
  • Partner with internal teams and external providers to keep operations running smoothly
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency through better processes or tools
  • Support various reporting and analysis needs for leadership
Requirements:
  • 8 years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility
  • Strong foundation in financial reporting, consolidations, and general accounting principles
  • Fund Accounting experience is highly preferred
  • Experience working in environments with multiple business lines or structures
  • CPA or similar certification is preferred
