Call Center Agent
We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Call Center Agent to join a leading Company located in the Cary, NC surrounding area.
$20.40/hour
Onsite position
Schedule Details:
- 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
- Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday
- Rotating Saturdays (once per month with a weekday off)
- Training Schedule: Onsite, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- (Training lasts approximately 3-6 weeks)
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for inbound pharmacy calls
- Make outbound calls to schedule medication deliveries and collect payments
- Provide prescription status updates, billing information, and refill support
- Accurately document calls, patient profiles, and progress notes
- Run medical claims and verify insurance information
- Escalate concerns to pharmacists or nurses when needed
- Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and patience with patients
- Identify and report adverse events and product complaints
- Maintain strict confidentiality and compliance
- Microsoft Office and computer systems
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- High School Diploma or EquivalentÂ
- Minimum 1 year of recent call center experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Associate degree
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional phone presence and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive patient conversations with empathy
- Pharmacy, medical office, or medical terminology experience a plus
- Medical claims experience a plus
- Strong attendance is essential
