Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role operates from 7:30am to 4pm, and involves a range of responsibilities essential to maintaining efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Process, package, and ship orders accurately.
• Unload trucks and receive inventory.
• Organize stocks and maintain inventory levels.
• Utilize a Production Report and collaborate with Customer Service to ensure timely shipments.
• Organize warehouse space efficiently.
• Coordinate with transportation contacts for all shipments and manage brokers for international shipments.
• Responsible for light configuration of some products.
• Assist in facilities maintenance, safety, and upkeep.

Essential Skills

• Shipping and packing experience.
• Experience with ERP software for processing shipments.
• Knowledge of shipping through UPS and FedEx.
• Pallet wrapping and strapping skills.
• Experience with international shipping and commercial invoice documentation, especially for shipments to Canada.
• Proficiency in MS Office software, including Outlook and Excel.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Working knowledge of shipping programs such as FedEx and UPS.
• Ability to learn new programs such as Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Skills in inventory management, material handling, and data entry.
• Great work ethic with the ability to handle changing priorities daily.
• Punctuality and reliability are crucial.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Apex, NC.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
