Mechanical Project Manager

A multi-disciplinary architectural, engineering and construction firm is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to help them ensure the successful installation of HVAC and Plumbing systems that meet code requirements, budget, and on-time installation at their commercial, retail, and residential facilities in Charlotte, NC. 

Your Day Includes

• Assessing projects initially to determine issues and conditions.
• Preparing initial assessment reports and managing project budget for client review
• Working with the engineering team to develop project scopes.
• Negotiating and preparing vendor and subcontractor purchase orders.
• Overseeing project scheduling and coordination between contractors and clients.
• Monitoring and controlling construction through site visits, meetings, and documentation.
  

Must Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant field work experience in HVAC and Plumbing.
• Minimum 4 years of verifiable Project Management experience in commercial HVAC and Plumbing.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certification or Professional Engineer license is a plus.
