Power Apps and Power Automate Developer
Hybrid 3 days on-site in Charlotte, NC
Our client seeks a Power Apps and Power Automate Developer to design and implement automation solutions that streamline workflows and integrate data across platforms. The role will build secure, scalable applications using Power Platform, Azure services, and connectors while applying agile and test-driven practices. The developer will analyze Dataverse, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver solutions that address business and customer needs. The position influences architecture through research, code reviews, and continuous improvement of automation practices.

Rate: $50.00 to $55.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
- Assist with development, deployment, and maintenance of Power Apps and Power Automate solutions supporting business processes and frameworks.
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug applications and workflows for enhancements and new automation products.
- Monitor and maintain automation services, ensure system health, and identify process improvements.
- Scale automation solutions using continuous deployment and automation tools.
- Implement recommended design patterns from leads and architects to ensure best practices.
- Work in an agile environment and participate in UAT and design strategy sessions while collaborating with developers, designers, and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and product owners to deliver cloud-based automation solutions for Microsoft platforms, Azure, and other clouds.
- Communicate progress clearly and proactively resolve blocking issues.
- Engage in paired programming and code reviews with senior developers to expand technical expertise.
- Conduct independent research to refine automation techniques and present findings to peers.
- Experience creating solutions with Power Apps and Power Automate, independently and in teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft development environments and IDEs.
- Familiarity with APIs and connectors, including integration across data sources and services.
- Knowledge of Power Platform ecosystem and multiple development frameworks or automation platforms.
- Understanding of cloud-native automation best practices, microservices, and DevOps principles.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language with ability to learn new tools quickly.
- Experience with databases, including basic design, integration, and data management.
- Awareness of cybersecurity principles such as authentication, authorization, and encryption, and application within Power Platform solutions.
- Experience with UIPath, Automation 360, Blue Prism, Kofax RPA, or equivalent RPA tools.
- Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
- Understanding of systems administration for cloud and data center environments and automation architecture.
- Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills with business partners.
- Demonstrated leadership and understanding of cloud and data center infrastructure.
- High School Diploma or GED with 9 years in automation engineering or software engineering, or Associate degree with 7 years in automation engineering or software engineering.

The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
