Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours
- Weekend rotation: every other weekend
- No on-call requirements for travelers
- Expect to work 75% of holidays
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 18 months recent PCU/Stepdown experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency with critical care drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation, stroke care, trach management, PIV/IV starts, tube/drain management, and related clinical skills
- Experience with EPIC, Alaris, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors preferred
- Comfortable floating within a multi-facility region (willingness essential)
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent care for patients with stroke, heart failure, chest pain, COPD, AKI/CKD, and complex fluid/blood product needs
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage ventilator/trach and assorted drains/tubes
- Respond independently and collaboratively to patient needs, adapting to unique settings across network facilities
- Maintain meticulous records and contribute to a supportive, teamwork-driven atmosphere
