Schedule/Hours

• Weekend rotation: every other weekend
• No on-call requirements for travelers
• Expect to work 75% of holidays

Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 18 months recent PCU/Stepdown experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with critical care drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation, stroke care, trach management, PIV/IV starts, tube/drain management, and related clinical skills
• Experience with EPIC, Alaris, Omnicell, and Phillips monitors preferred
• Comfortable floating within a multi-facility region (willingness essential)

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent care for patients with stroke, heart failure, chest pain, COPD, AKI/CKD, and complex fluid/blood product needs
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; manage ventilator/trach and assorted drains/tubes
• Respond independently and collaboratively to patient needs, adapting to unique settings across network facilities
• Maintain meticulous records and contribute to a supportive, teamwork-driven atmosphere
