Truck Shop Mechanic

Job Title: Truck Shop Mechanic
Availability: Immediate
Reports to: Truck Shop Manager
Position Summary: The selected individual will be responsible for maintenance and repairs of the heavy-duty trucks, trailers and diesel forklifts including but not limited to service of equipment, performing routine preventative maintenance and preparing work orders for any defects found during the preventative maintenance. Other duties assigned.
Skills and Experience
·Must have own tools and tool chest
·CDL’s a plus
·Good mechanic and electrical abilities
·12 months mechanic experience
·Dependable as demonstrated by past work history
·Excellent attendance policy (policy applies)
·Able to lift 60-70 pounds
·Able to work with little or no supervision
·Ability to work well with other partners, supervisors and managers
·Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Including overtime and weekends if necessary
·Will work on call rotations
·Computer skills
