Job Title: Technology Specialist Design & Build
Location: Qualified candidates must be located in Research Triangle, North Carolina, USA
Job Type: [Full-Time/Contract]
Reports To: VP of Engineering
Position Summary:
We are seeking a versatile and skilled Technology Specialist to design, build, and enhance software and systems that drive Unifyr’s core products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting robust, scalable, and innovative technology solutions, contributing to the success of Unifyr’s global mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Development:
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions for Unifyr’s products and platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
System Design & Architecture:
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design scalable and reliable system architectures.
- Ensure solutions align with Unifyr’s technical strategy and business goals.
Innovation & Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to enhance product functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Explore and integrate emerging technologies to keep Unifyr’s offerings at the forefront of innovation.
Testing & Debugging:
- Conduct rigorous testing to ensure software reliability and functionality.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, UX/UI, and quality assurance, to deliver seamless solutions.
- Actively participate in code reviews and technical discussions to maintain high development standards.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of software designs, development processes, and technical specifications.
- Provide progress updates to stakeholders and contribute to project planning.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in software development or related roles.
- Demonstrated success in delivering scalable and innovative technology solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of system design, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and microservices architecture.
- Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL), APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
