Role Overview:
The Inbound Sales Manager at ON24 will be a pivotal member of the SDR team, bringing high energy, strategic thinking, and operational expertise to the table. The Inbound Sales Manager will drive success in managing inbound prospects, focusing on new customer acquisition and expanding buying centers within our existing customer base. This position, based in our Charlotte office, will lead a dynamic team responsible for managing the flow of inbound leads, providing direction, and enabling growth in the Americas markets.
Reporting to the VP / global head of sales development, this is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, results-driven sales leader in a fast-paced environment. The Inbound Sales Manager will oversee the inbound prospecting efforts, ensuring lead conversion, customer satisfaction, and overall sales success.
Responsibilities:
Lead and scale the inbound sales team, ensuring effective management of inbound leads and prospects.
Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, delivering consistent results.
Recruit, develop, and motivate the inbound team to meet performance goals.
Collaborate with sales reps, peers, and executive leadership to drive team success in line with defined metrics.
Oversee a team of 5+ inbound reps, coaching them on best practices and participating in joint prospecting calls.
Set individual goals for each team member and provide feedback through regular performance reviews (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually).
Manage the lead flow process and forecast accurately to ensure proper coverage, collaborating with the executive team.
Provide daily coaching, focusing on driving team success and fostering a high-performance culture.
Ensure alignment between inbound reps and field Account Executives (AEs), supporting seamless collaboration and conversion.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase sales performance, customer satisfaction, and team accountability.
Skills & Experience:
Strong management experience with the ability to lead, scale, and optimize an inbound SDR team.
Proven track record of managing inside sales teams to over-quota performance.
Minimum 2 years of experience in software or technical sales, with at least 1 year of successful leadership experience (experience selling marketing solutions is highly preferred).
Proficient in CRM, Salesforce.com, and related reporting and analysis tools.
Highly motivated by individual and team achievements, with a proven ability to inspire and drive a team towards success.
Strong organizational and time management skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities and projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration across teams.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Ability to work in the Charlotte office 2 days per week.

The base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $100,000 This range is not a guarantee of actual compensation that may be earned nor a promise of any specific pay for any specific employee, which is always dependent on relevant experience, education, skills, location, and other applicable factors.
